Georgia (Gem) Marsden – Managing Director, MBA
Georgia—affectionately known as Gem— has a big heart for our clinic and has been devoted to caring for animals since she first entered the veterinary world in 2013.
Friends and family will tell you: she’s the person who can’t walk past a cat or dog without stopping to say hello—even if it means holding up a whole group on holiday or crouching down to pat a stray in another country. Her love for animals is instinctive, wholehearted, and lifelong—and it’s what drives everything she does.
In 2017, Georgia moved to London to broaden her skills, eventually earning a spot on the Nurse Register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. That international experience gave her fresh insight into high-quality, compassionate care and strengthened her calm, practical approach.
Georgia also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA)—a qualification she’s incredibly proud of after years of hard work, study, and dedication. It’s helped her build a practice that blends clinical excellence with a strong, supportive team culture.
As Managing Director since 2023, Georgia continues to lead with kindness, clarity, and a commitment to making veterinary care accessible and respectful—for pets and people alike. She has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery, laparoscopic procedures, and emergency medicine.
At home, she’s happiest surrounded by her two beautiful children and her animals, including her own two dogs: Ellie the golden retriever and Tank the cavoodle.

His careful and neat handiwork has earned him a reputation for precision, and his deep love for animals ensures he provides the very best care for every patient that comes through our doors.
Charlie’s expertise also extends to orthopedics, having undergone additional training in techniques like de Angelis and TPLO. His commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest in veterinary care means that our patients receive the highest standard of treatment available.
But beyond his impressive skills, what really sets Charlie apart is his genuine kindness and compassion for animals and their owners. Whether it’s a simple check-up or a complex surgery, Charlie is always happy to stay back when needed, ensuring every pet gets the attention they deserve.
When he’s not at work, Charlie loves spending time with his adorable cavoodle, Honey, who’s a constant source of joy in his life. His unwavering dedication to providing exceptional care and his loving nature make him a valued member of our team, and we’re so fortunate to have him with us.

Since then, she’s gained a wealth of experience in various roles across the animal and veterinary industry. Adrienne has now found her home at Brisbane Water and Leslie St Vets, where she serves as our Head Nurse. Here, she takes immense pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment for our patients, providing them with gentle care.

From the very beginning, Dillon has stood out for his gentle nature, positive energy, and genuine love for animals—whether they have fur, feathers, or scales. He has a strong passion for wildlife recovery, treatment, and rehabilitation, which led him to complete the Taronga Wildlife Hospital training program last year. This experience deepened his skills and strengthened his dedication to caring for our native wildlife.
Dillon also has a big heart for the community and loves being part of the Brisbane Water and Leslie Street Vet family. He takes pride in supporting both pets and their people, always ready with a friendly smile and a helping hand. At home, he’s kept in line by his sassy Siamese cat, who definitely calls the shots.

She’s particularly passionate about in-house hospitalisation and patient management, always keeping a close eye on the little things that make a big difference to our patients’ comfort and care.
Outside the clinic, Treasure and her family keep cows, which add a touch of rural charm and plenty of fun to her days. Her deep connection to animals of all kinds continues to fuel her passion for veterinary nursing, and we’re lucky to have her on our team.

Ebony has a particular soft spot for chickens and proudly shares her home with three beloved dogs and nine feathered friends, including a very handsome one-footed rooster named Fifi. Her heart and soul go into caring for her flock, just as they do for every patient who walks through our doors.
